Wroxton Wines Wroxton Wines are made from grapes grown on our family estate in the Barossa Ranges. We began our venture into single vineyard wines in 1995 with Shiraz and Riesling, and have continued to produce very limited amounts of both varieties since. We specialise in producing very limited quantities of premium single vineyard wines from mature age vineyards. Our first vines were planted in the 1920's and there has been an on-going extensive replanting program since 1973. The classic varieties of the Eden Valley region, Shiraz and Riesling, are our main plantings, while Chardonnay, Semillon and Gewürztraminer are also grown. Our vineyards are planted on eastern facing slopes in the Eden Valley wine region, ideal for the production of top quality cool climate wines. Wroxton Grange Vineyards are planted at altitudes between 430 and 510 metres with an average rainfall of 674 millimetres per annum.
